Mark Bailey

BSc (Hons) Diagnostic Radiography


Mark graduated in 1995 with a Batchelor of science degree from Sheffield Hallam University. Since then, he has worked in the human Medical Imaging world in many areas of such. His main interests within Radiology/Imaging have been trauma A+E, theatre, angiography, fluoroscopy, and MRI/CT. Not all his experience was within the hospital arena has he has worked as a Clinical applications specialist, territory sales manager, in product management and marketing, in various European countries and the US.

In his spare time he entertains his two children, Elicia and Cameron. He also juggles his rather large family commitment, and when he finds the time to do so maintains, works and tends to his allotment and on his occasional down time writes poetry and walks his pooch Marley.


Louise McLean


Diagnostic Imager

Louise graduated from Liverpool University in 1990. After a short period in mixed practice and laboratory work, she has worked exclusively in small animal practice in the North of England since 1994.

Louise gained her RCVS certificate in small animal medicine in 2003 and RCVS certificate in diagnostic imaging in 2010. Her particular interests include endocrinology and diagnostic imaging. Louise joined Calder Vets in 2013 working as part of the Small Animal Medicine referral team. She has now moved to Paragon to provide diagnostic imaging support for all departments.

When not in work Louise enjoys yoga and swimming. and walking her dog Max.
