Dan qualified from the University of Liverpool in 2013. Since then he has worked in busy small animal practices both in England and Australia before joining the team at Paragon as a rotating intern in 2018. Dan is currently completing a surgical internship at Paragon and has a strong interest in all areas of orthopaedic and soft tissue surgery. He is currently involved in research assessing quality of life in patients undergoing Total Ear Canal Ablation (TECA) surgery and he is working towards a Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice in Small Animal Surgery.
Aside from working he enjoys music and getting outdoors – cycling, both road and mountain biking, running and snowboarding.
Ivan is from a small town located in Aragon, Spain. He graduated in 2016 from Zaragoza University, Spain. After finishing his degree, he completed an “Erasmus Practice” scholarship in the United Kingdom for 3 months. He then went back to Spain and worked in a small hospital located in Barcelona during weekends for 3 months. At the same time, he was visiting The Veterinary University of Barcelona. Not long before he completed a rotating internship in small animals at Veterinary University of Barcelona. Ivan then moved to EEUU and he completed an externship focusing on internal medicine for 2 months at a private referral hospital. Having completed his internship he went back to working at a large hospital in Barcelona, before making the move to the UK to start as a rotating intern at Paragon Referrals in 2019 and in January 2020 became our specialised medicine intern.
Ivan has a love for oncology and internal medicine and is very much looking forward to become an internal medicine specialist.
Outside of work Ivan loves to travel and visit other countries around the world. He loves to spend time in the countryside and has a keen interest in nature and sports such as, hiking and football.
Kat qualified in 2018 from Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciences, Poland.
At her final year, she completed the monthly externship in referral emergency hospital in Canada, and after graduation went for a short internship in Jaggy Clinic, Prague. Later she decided to move to Wales when she was working in a busy first opinion practice up until January 2020 when she started her internship at Paragon. Kat has a great interest in orthopaedic and soft tissue surgery.
Outside of works she enjoys playing the piano, sailing and dancing.
Elisabeth graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 2015, and worked in a first opinion small animal practice in Leeds for three and a half years before moving to Paragon to start a rotating internship. Her main interest is internal medicine although she is looking forward to spending time with the other departments at Paragon to gain a good general knowledge base.
She has a ginger cat called Bilbo who came to her old practice as an injured stray.
