An exceptional opportunity for veterinary professionals
Here is your chance to become a Certified RECOVER Rescuer in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Life Support (ALS)! The RECOVER (Reassessment Campaign on Veterinary Resuscitation) Rescuer certification provides you with the knowledge, practical skills and confidence to manage resuscitation cases in practice.
This is an in-person practical workshop, delivered over one day by a RECOVER Certified Instructor in direct association with RECOVER. RECOVER CPR is the only official veterinary CPR certification recognised by the American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care (ACVECC) and the Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society (VECCS)
The workshop covers all the key principles of BLS and ALS, guided by the 2024 evidence-based veterinary CPR standardized guidelines. The workshop includes practical assessments that participants must pass to obtain their certification. Meet your Instructor:
The workshop is led by Lydia Barry BSc (Hons) RVN PGDip Vet Ed CertVNECC, a RECOVER Certified Instructor and Ward & ICU Team Lead at Paragon Referrals. Lydia is currently completing an MSc in Veterinary Education, with her research focused on CPR education, and has delivered CPR training to over 50 veterinary practices across Yorkshire and beyond. Her teaching combines clinical excellence, educational expertise and hands on ECC experience.
Important information regarding mandatory pre-work:
Completion of the Online Recover BLS & ALS course. All participants must have successfully completed the RECOVER online BLS and ALS courses before attending this workshop. The price of the online course is not included in the price of the workshop. However, a 20% discount code will be provided at the time of booking.
